Successful implantation depends on the quality of gametes, egg and sperm, the quality of the embryo, the lining of the uterus and the establishment of successful cross-talk between the uterus and embryo after transfer.

Failed implantation can occur due to many factors. There can be anatomical problems such as fibroids or polyps, immunological issues, infections, alteration in receptivities in the endometrial lining, abnormal embryo genetics, thrombophilic, and so on.

We need to evaluate them based on the results of the valuation and we take into account various add-on medications or procedures for drugs with the next transfer.

They are:

1

Intralipids

A specialized emulsion infusion used in fertility treatments, intralipids have shown promise in enhancing embryo implantation, especially for those with recurrent miscarriages due to immune issues.

2

IVIG

Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG), is a blood product administered intravenously. It can help modulate immune responses and facilitate implantation.

3

ERA / EMMA / ALICE

A trio of advanced reproductive tests, ERA determines the optimal implantation window, EMMA assesses the endometrial microbiota for optimal fertility, and ALICE detects harmful bacteria that can hinder implantation.

4

AOA

Assisted Oocyte Activation (AOA) is a technique that stimulates the activation of eggs post-ICSI procedure to improve fertilization rates, especially in cases of previous fertilization failures.

5

Laser assisted hatching

A precision technique where a tiny opening is made in the embryo’s outer layer, enhancing its ability to implant into the uterine wall.

6

Embryo glue

A specialized solution that promotes the adherence of the embryo to the uterus.
