Our Story
In 1978, Dr. Vijaya Hegde founded Hegde Hospital, a healthcare facility focused on women’s health, specifically maternity and gynecology. Over the years, Hegde Hospital grew on the strength of its credibility and patient referrals, and started to offer services such as surgery, laparoscopy, fertility and pediatrics.
Hegde Hospital has served generations of families on the strength of its ethical practices, patient-first approach and constantly evolving medical and healthcare capabilities.
Seeing a growing need for specialized fertility services, Hegde Fertility was established in 2009 by its Clinical Director, Dr. Vandana Hegde.
Since inception, Hegde Fertility has endeavored to shift the narrative from “treating infertility” to “managing fertility”.
