Stress – Major cause of Infertility

Stress is one of the major causes of infertility in both men and women. Stress can be caused due to a wide variety of reasons. In stressful conditions women will have ovulation problems. Stress can alter the signal that goes to the brain during the process of ovulation. Women generally release eggs every month. Hormones are responsible for the release of eggs from the ovaries. There are certain hormones present in the body that triggers the ovaries to release eggs every month.  When women are going through stress they ovulate less regularly and thus it is difficult for them to plan a baby.

Adrenaline is a hormone that is release under stress by both men and women. Adrenaline does not allow your body to utilize progesterone. Progesterone utilization is necessary for fertility. Other hormones apart from adrenaline that is responsible for infertility is prolactin which is released by pituitary glands. In stressful condition prolactin levels increases in the body.

Stress hormones like adrenaline, catecholamine and cortisol are generally released in the body in extreme stress conditions. High levels of stress hormones in the body inhibit the release of sex hormones. Inhibition of sex hormone release can suppress the ovulation process in   women and decreases the sperm count in men.

GnRH (Gonadotropin releasing hormone) hormone plays a major in releasing the hormones from pituitary gland that stimulates the gonads in both men and women. Stimulation of gonads increases the sex hormonal levels in both men and women. Increased stress can halt the release of hormones in the body and can result in infertility.

Cost Effective Infertility Treatment

Infertility can be treated mainly by 2 methods:

IVF treatment-IVF Centres

In-vitro fertilization is a fertility treatment that helps in conception of a child. In in-vitro fertilization (IVF) mature eggs are collected and fertilized by sperm in Petri dishes in lab. These fertilized eggs are then implanted in the uterus. Each cycle of in-vitro fertilization takes about 2 weeks for it to complete. IVF treatment can be done at IVF centre in Madhapur. Hegde fertility clinic is one of the best Fertility Center in Hyderabad.

IUI Treatment-IUI Centres

Intrauterine insemination is a fertility treatment in which the sperms are placed inside the uterus. This procedure is to increase the number of sperm that reaches the fallopian tube. Sperm has to reach the fertilized egg on its own and is a less invasive procedure.

The IUI treatment can be done at IUI centres where the costs are reasonable and infertility treatments are provided by a board certified Infertility Specialist.
