PGT-A or PGS Known as Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy ( PGT-A) or Preimplantation Genetic Screening ( PGS)

TO WHOM TO ADVICE

  1. Women above 35yrs
  2. Previous failed IVF ( RIF)
  3. History of abortions in past ( RPL)
  4. Male partner with abnormal semen parameters
  5. As a routine with PGD
  6. Optional during first IVF to plan Single Pregnancy

STEPS FOR PROCEDURE

  1. A detailed evaluation by Geneticist
  2. Go through IVF / ICSI
  3. Embryos cultured till day 5/6 blastocyst
  4. Embryo biopsy ( few cells) done with laser, sample sent to Genetic lab and embryo frozen
  5. Embryo reported as Euploid ( Having normal chromosomes ) is transferred back as in FET cycle

  4. Chances of having Genetic problems in the baby is low
