HYSTEROSALPINGOGRAPHY
A Hysterosalpingography or is a type of X-ray that investigates the shape of the uterus, shape, and patency of fallopian tubes. A special dye or contrast material is used, so that uterus and tubes show up clearly on the x-ray images. It is done in the first half of the cycle around D7- D10. It is generally advised in couples having trouble conceiving or have had pregnancy problems such as multiple miscarriages.

Process of the Procedure:
HSG is best performed one week after menstruation but before ovulation. A radiologist or Gynaecologist will perform the test.
